Some of my Photography...

Here is some of my photography, taken mostly in California, especially around Santa Barbara, and in Franconian Switzerland (Fränkische Schweiz), Bavaria. This one is from Glacier Point at Yosemite National Park.

I grew up in a relatively remote place of natural beauty, and learned from an early age how enlightening and refreshing it can be to be alone in nature. Now living in the United States, I feel blessed to call Santa Barbara home with its magical nature.

I love American road trips through the great National Parks. One of my favorite places so far is Bryce Canyon, especially in winter - hiking in between picturesque orange rock formations covered with white snow, under a blue sky!

French composer Olivier Messiaen was inspired here to write Des canyons aux étoiles... (From the canyons to the stars...), an awesome twelve-movement orchestral work.
